Created in 1971, the Cégep de Trois-Rivières French School continues to serve people who want to learn, discover, and improve their knowledge of the French language. In a pleasant, motivating and safe environment, we offer dynamic training tailored to the needs of the students.

Our team is competent, experienced and dedicated to the success of our students.

French immersion

Our intensive five-week French immersion program is open to young people between the ages of 16 and 17 who want to learn French.

Explore is a five-week intensive French-immersion bursary program that is offered during the summer for people with any skill level in French. Explore participants are awarded a $2,800 bursary (taxable income) that covers tuition fees for the course, instructional materials, meals, and accommodation.

For non-eligible students, it is possible to participate by registering at a cost of $3,075 directly on our website.

French courses for immigrants

In partnership with the ministère de l’Immigration, de la Francisation et de l’Intégration (MIFI), we offer free French  courses for immigrants. Offered  four times a year, these courses allow students to communicate effectively in French in order to participate fully in Quebec society.

Our students come from all over the world.
